Their relationship starts off as a no-strings attached fling with a deadline, but they quickly start spending time together not hooking up and just talk. She’s always been intrigued by the boy at the back of the classroom but has always assumed he’d never look her way and the boundary they would be crossing. Until Jaime propositions her and blackmails her into starting a casual relationship with him, although she didn’t take much persuasion. Having her dreams of being a professional ballet dancer taken away from her, she is moving through life, but not enjoying it. That’s is until he sets his eyes on his English Lit teacher, Melody Greene. Jaime is by far the most mature and level-headed of the group, but that’s not saying much as he fights, is loyal to his friends and goes through girls quickly. They are rich, entitled jerks who run the school, but you can’t help but have a soft spot for them. Jaime is one of the four HotHoles, a group of hot a$$holes in their senior year of high school. This book was full of steam, drama and a little taboo, and the only thing I would change is make it longer! LJ Shen’s prequel to the Sinners of Saints series is a hot short novella to set the scene and introduce you to the world of the Four HotHoles.

Seeing these jerks fall hard for their heroines makes for turbulent and heartbreaking reading, but I loved rereading their stories and remembering parts I had forgotten about on my first read! Defy (Sinners of Saint #0.5) These books take place over a number of years, starting in high school and carrying through until the group are in their thirties. The Sinners of Saint series mainly revolves around the four HotHoles, a group of hot a$$holes who are rich, entitled a$$holes who have known each other for years, but you can’t help but have a soft spot for them.
Well, I read these books years ago and in anticipation of the new book from LJ, The Hunter and the Prey, a spin off series, coming out in May, I decided it was time for a reread and to properly review them. Now I know what you’re thinking, Rosie you’re a bit late to the party on this bestselling series by LJ Shen.
